          General Purpose and Box Trailers - basic trailer has phenol coated plywood floor and an alloy chequer plate cladded tailgate

Manufactured in England by Graham Edwards Trailers, all our general purpose trailers are made with rigid sides using 2mm steel plate, folded to add more strength, then welded together before galvanising to form an extremely robust monocoque shell. To this basic unit can be added various options to make this class of trailer a truly versatile piece of equipment. Among the options available are livestock kits, box van kits, tarpaulin cover kits, extension side kits and a solid lid.
All general purpose trailers come complete with a hard wearing phenolic plywood floor and an alloy checker plate clad tailgate.  All trailers come with the following features:-

  • Protected lights

  • Fully approved lighting systems with double seal loom connections

  • Thermoplastic mudguards

  • Spare wheel storage

  • Rigid steel welded framework construction hot dip galvanised after fabrication

  • Fitting points for all optional kits built into each trailer so can be upgraded later if required

  • Rubber torsion bar suspension for smooth maintenance free ride

  • Lockable coupling head

  • Heavy duty jockey wheel

  • Overrun braking systems to full EEC specifications
