We stock a range of cycle carriers by Witter, Pendle, and Maxxraxx.   We only sell towbar or spare wheel mounted carriers.  We do not recommend strap on carriers because of the risk of damage to the vehicle and the difficulties encountered in installing them.  They are often not as secure as towbar mounted carriers especially when carrying four bikes.

Very good value, easy to use carriers.  Used by our own staff for many years, this is by far our best selling carrier.  Comes in two versions with three models of each.

Very easy to use, takes seconds to install (once base plate has been fitted). This is capable of carrying up to 4 cycles and is suitable for most popular vehicles without a rear mounted spare wheel. It comes with elastic straps for securing the bicycles and an additional support for use when carrying four bikes. You can tow and carry bikes at the same time provided nose weight limits are not exceeded. We recommend the use of a light board if the lights or number plate of the vehicle are obscured (not applicable when towing).

As ZX88/99/109 but complete with 3 pairs of multi-angle cycle attachment clamps and a "bungee" cord with hooks to secure wheels.  Can be upgraded to four bikes with an additional pair of clamps.

Can be used with  swan neck style towbars in conjunction with clam shell adaptor but you cannot tow at the same time.

Pendle Towbar Mounted 4 Bike Carriers come in three sizes with either a flange ball mounting or swan neck mounting.  The flange ball type can be used whilst towing but we recommend restricting the number of bikes to two due to the possibility of fouling the caravan or trailer when on full turning circle.

The Maxxraxx Cycle Carry System offers an innovative approach to towbar mounted cycle carrying.  Strong, versatile and easy to use. It adjusts to suit the users needs, tilts to give access to boot or tailgate.  Includes built-in security to lock your bikes to the carrier and the carrier to your car.   Comes in three sizes and two mounting types, flange ball and swan neck.   Due to safety concerns, the swan neck version can only be purchased from Maxxraxx and fitted by an authorised dealer such as ourselves.

Both types can be used whilst towing but nose weight limits should not be exceeded.

Swan Neck to Flange Ball Adaptor

Have you recently changed from a flange ball towbar to a detachable or fixed swan neck?  Can't use your Witter, Pendle, Maxxraxx or similar cycle carrier now?

            

  This is the answer!  The new Bak Rak clam shell adaptor.  This is a very well engineered, easy to use product.   It takes less than a minute to install using a 19mm spanner.  It is very secure.  The only disadvantage is that you can't tow at the same time.  It is priced at £29.37 inc VAT.
