We are pleased to announce that from 1st July, we
have been appointed UK distributors to the caravan and leisure market for the hard
gas mantles formally produced
by Falks Veritas. The new Auerlicht mantles are produced by Indo International
and are superior to the Falks Veritas mantle. They are longer
lasting and produce a brighter light. We stock four
sizes and at present have good stock of Truma and No. 1. We are awaiting a
shipment of No 2 & 3 from India. It is due to arrive on the 10th March so
we should receive about a week later.

Indo International Mantles are used by the City of
Boston, Massachusetts to light the streets of their historic districts.
There was a danger that the world famous gas lamps might have to be replaced
with electric lights until Indo came to their rescue. You can read the full

Auerlicht Mantles are now being used by Barrowburn
of Morpeth to illuminate their camping barn. The new mantles arrived just
in time as stocks of the old mantles were exhausted.
This sounds like a wonderful place to stay if you like the
outdoor life!
The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway is gas lit and
now uses Auerlicht mantles. Many period television programmes have been
made using the railway and we are pleased to have helped maintain the
authenticity by supplying mantles. Probably the best known of these is the
film "The Railway Children" If you are in the area and would like an
interesting day out, then the K. & W.V. Railway is worth a visit.
