Whispbar/Cykell

This is our top of the range cycle carrier. Stylish, easy to use, aluminium construction, will take electric as well as conventional bikes, sales of Cykell carriers have exceeded all our expectations.  Comes as a two bike (T21) or three bike (T31) version but an additional bike carrier can be purchased separately. There is also an optional loading ramp. Now rebranded as Whispbar but the product is identical.

• Has full function lights including reversing lights with 13 pin plug but comes with 7 pin adaptor.

Witter

Witter offer two styles of cycle carrier, twin arm hanging or wheel support platform.

Twin arm hanging

Advantages:

• Competively priced
• Can carry bikes and tow at the same time
• Does not interfere with towing electrics
• Fits vehicles with a rear mounted spare wheel.

Disadvantages:

• Only fits UK flange ball type towbars.
• Lights not included

Platform

Advantages:

• Lockable (included or extra depending on the model)
• Light board and number plate mounting included
• Does not interfere with towing electrics
• Tilts down for boot access.
• Each bike has its own wheel support channel and crossbar arm.

Disadvantages:

• Cannot tow and carry bikes at the same time
• Does not fits vehicles with a rear mounted spare wheel.

Pendle

Pendle offer several styles of cycle carrier for vehicles with or without a spare wheel on the rear. They offer the twin arm style for both flange ball and swan neck type towbars.  They also make a very sturdy wheel support rack. For vehicles with a wheel on the rear tailgate/door, there is wheel mounted carrier

Advantages:

• Competively priced
• Can carry bikes and tow at the same time (not wheel support racks or swan neck)

Disadvantages:

• Need to re-wire socket(s) onto dedicated plate

Maxxraxx

The Maxxraxx is a very well designed and versatile cycle carrier  for vehicles with or without a spare wheel on the rear.

Advantages:

• Each bike has its own cradle
• Can carry bikes and tow at the same time (inc swan neck version)
• Does not interfere with towing electrics

Disadvantages:

• May need to purchase X Bars for bikes without crossbars/Y frame bikes.
• Swan neck has to be fitted by approved fitting centre

Westfalia

BC60 Platform Cycle Carrier

Two bike platform carrier extendable to three bikes. A loading ramp is also available.

• Folds down to a very compact size when not in use

As well as their innovative BC60 platform cycle carrier, Westfalia also sell a range of cycle carriers for cars that are not permitted to tow.  These are generally smaller vehicles where fitting a carrier to the tailgate or roof is not practical.  Once the mounting brackets have been fitted to the vehicle, fitting and removing the carrier is very straightforward. Supplied with a wiring kit.
